The problem is that I love both! In the end I went with some other games, including Sonic & Knuckles for my hedgehog-fix and Kingdoms of Amalur for my roleplaying needs.
As money comes and goes I will probably go and buy Generations and Torchlight anyway!
Sonic Generations if you love Sonic, Torchlight otherwise
